Hi everyone, to assist with his in-patient therapy, we’re putting together some short videos for Marcus as part of his therapy called Familiar Auditory Sensory Training (FAST). The goal is for him to hear familiar voices telling stories about memories from before his injury.

If you’re able, please record a 2-3 minute video telling Marcus about a shared memory from at least one year before his injury.

Just talk to him like you normally would. Use his name and describe the moment so that he can picture it — what was happening, where you were, what it looked or sounded like.

Example:

“Hi Marcus, it’s ____. I was thinking about the time we…”

Please avoid scary or troubling memories; instead happy, normal, or even challenging life moments are all okay. Remember these will be played in shared spaces, so please keep the language appropriate and G-rated.

If you have issues trying to transfer the videos, please let us know and we will work on a way to help facilitate the transfer.
