Shortly after we posted yesterday’s update, through a chain of acquaintances, we finally were able to make a breakthrough with our insurance company (thank you Valleri!) and get through to the right people to make some progress (thank you Pam!). Within an hour or so, Pam had plans finalized to get him back to SRALAB.

At 12 pm today, the transport team arrived at Marcus’ room at Lurie Children’s Hospital to get him set up and moved back to Shirley Ryan. After a smooth and quick process, Marcus is now settled back into his room at the SRALAB. Today there will be minimal therapy in order to let Marcus get settled back in. We are already seeing a difference in his response to the formula here, and we are praying it stays that way going forward.

Tomorrow they will do another intake assessment and hopefully start to get back on track to get his rehab process started.
