In August 2024, at the age of 17, Marcus had a heart attack and died. He was resuscitated and now lives with a traumatic brain injury. This video below shows just a small moment in his life, with his family and a team of medical staff supporting him. This is just a glimpse into what taking care of Marcus looks like.

We are hopeful for recovery, but the day-to-day realities of his injuries are heavy. We wanted to share this to allow people to see his current condition and understand that this is what we mean when we say that he is “doing OK.”
