September 13, 2024 Update. 

Over the past few days since his last update, Marcus got his hair redone (thanks Tanya). He has continued his work with staff.  Today he was wheeled outside for the first time and he seemed to really enjoy that.  While he’s not eating or drinking, speech therapy team gave him chocolate ice cream and cran-grape juice which brought a smile to his face.  

We are waiting for the facility to let us know when his bed is ready.  We will Med Evac him out on Tuesday the 17th or Wednesday the 18th next week.  

That being said we are sure they will be many of you who want to see him.  Please check with family before showing up at the hospital. His PT/OT times change and if you show unannounced, you may be stuck waiting.
