We want to thank each and every person who has reached out, visited Marcus and/or us, sent food, money, drinks, cards, etc. The community outreach has been nothing less than miraculous, and we would not be holding up the way we all are without the people around us cheering Marcus and our families on. 

Specifically to our high school sport community in Alaska… thank you. When Coach Stockhausen in Ketchikan heard the news, he rallied the basketball community together and organized for teams across the state to send signed #33 jerseys to Marcus. With the help of Coach Stovall at Dimond, Marcus’ room is now filled with signed team jerseys. The entire staff at ARH and everyone who visits is constantly blown away by the love and support that has been poured out daily for Marcus. The number of teammates, coaches, families, and friends from the entire sporting community has been overwhelmingly amazing. 

This entire experience has been a beautiful reminder of the good in people, the strength of our community, and the power of prayer and support. We are incredibly grateful for every person who has rallied along side us in this season. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
